Babylonstoren - Viognier

This 2022 Viognier wine is 100% varietal from Simonsberg - Paarl, South Africa. Babylonstoren, one of South Africa's Western Cape's oldest Cape Dutch farms, is run by winemaker Klaas Stoffberg who bottled the estate's first wines in 2011. With 94 hectares (232 acres), they produce 13 different wine varietals. For this Viognier, 70% is aged in stainless - steel tanks on lees and 30% in oak barrels for 7 months before blending. It offers enticing aromas of white flowers, lime zest, golden apples, and cream. This wine is a perfect match for a spicy fish curry.
