Domaine St. Cyr 'La Galoche' - Beaujolais

This 2022 French wine comes from a family-owned winery since 1949. It's an organic and biodynamic winery, being the largest organic domaine in Beaujolais. Since 2021, they've used horseback plowing to cut down on their carbon footprint. Made from 100% Gamay grapes from 40-year-old vines in clay-limestone soils, this light-bodied wine offers lovely minerality and a red-fruit dominant taste. It pairs nicely with roasted pork or fried calamari.

To enjoy this wine, just open the bottle and let it breathe for a short while. You can serve it at a cool temperature, around 50 - 55°F.
