Los Monteros - Cava - Brut

Crafted from carefully chosen grapes grown in Requena's vineyards and harvested in early September. After a cold maceration in pneumatic presses, the must ferments in stainless - steel tanks at 57ºF (14ºC). In January, the 'tiraje' process starts, bottling the new wine for a second fermentation inside the bottle. This cava spends at least nine months in 'rima', special holders for bottles. Then it's disgorged, dosed, and labeled. It has a pale yellow hue with green undertones. The aroma is clean, featuring delicate floral scents. On the palate, the fine mousse gives it a creamy texture, balanced with zesty citrus flavors and a long finish.

To enjoy this Los Monteros Cava - Brut, first, chill it in the fridge for a few hours. When you're ready to drink, hold the bottle at a 45 - degree angle and slowly remove the cork to avoid spills. You can serve it in a champagne flute to enhance the aroma and the look of the bubbles. As for storage, keep it in a cool, dark place. If you have some left over, put a champagne stopper on the bottle and store it in the fridge. It should stay good for a couple of days. Just be careful when opening the bottle as the pressure inside can make the cork fly out. And always drink responsibly.
