Pesquera - Ribera del Duero

This 2020 Tempranillo red wine hails from Ribera del Duero, Spain. Tinto Pesquera was founded in 1975 by Alejandro Fernandez and Esperanza Rivera after they purchased a small winery in the Rioja region. Today, the Fernandez Rivera family owns 200 hectares of vineyards near the Duero River, specializing in aged Tempranillo wines. This Tempranillo is grown in clay - loam and limestone soils and aged for 12 months in American oak barrels. It has a gorgeous color, and its tasting notes are just as beautiful. You'll taste red berries like raspberries and strawberries, along with roasted coffee beans and hints of licorice. It pairs perfectly with carpaccio or grilled lamp chops.

To enjoy this Pesquera Tempranillo, simply uncork it and pour it into a wine glass. Let it breathe for a few minutes to enhance the aroma.
