Product Description
In 1944, on August 15th, the Allied forces launched 'Operation Dragoon' to invade Southern France. In the following month, the French army freed Toulon and Marseille. Meanwhile, American soldiers, with the support of the French Resistance, advanced along National Route 7 to liberate the Rhone Valley. This four - week campaign, along with D - Day, played a key role in ending the war. This wine, a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah, pays tribute to those who liberated the Rhone Valley and brought peace to the world. It presents an array of blackberry and black cherry flavors, along with violets and peppery herbs, in a charming, elegant, silky, and pure style.
To enjoy this wine, first, let it breathe for about 30 minutes to an hour after opening. This helps to bring out its full flavor. Serve it at a temperature of around 18°C. It pairs wonderfully with red meats, such as steak or lamb. When storing, keep it in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and strong vibrations. Remember, like all good wines, it will continue to develop in flavor over time, but make sure to check it periodically to ensure it doesn't over - age.
