In 2021, this delightful Gamay wine hails from Regnie, Beaujolais, France. Winemaker Prunelle de Navacelle, raised in the village of Lantignié near Brouilly and close to Morgon, was drawn back to her family's winemaking roots after a decade in hospitality. She studied winemaking in the Maconnais. This Régnié is crafted from a single 0.64 - hectare, 80 - year - old, certified organic Gamay plot planted in pink granite at 390 meters using biodynamic farming. It offers a fragrant bouquet of fresh raspberries, cherries, and roses. The taste is filled with plush, bright red fruit flavors, and it has a subtle earthy and spicy finish.
