Remhoogte 'Honeybunch' - Chenin Blanc

This 2023 wine is 100% Chenin Blanc from Simonsberg, Stellenbosch, South Africa. Only the bunches on the morning - sun side of Remhoogte's 35 - year - old vineyard are chosen. Their sun exposure turns them gold and gives the wine a special honeyed character. Fermented with wild yeasts in older French oak barrels, it offers amazing complexity, with rich honeyed fruit, bright acidity, and a delicious savoury finish. Ideal to pair with shellfish, spicy foods, lean fish, and soft, mild cheeses.
