Tezza 'Brolo Delle Giare' - Valpolicella Valpantena Superiore

This 2018 Valpolicella Valpantena Superiore DOC hails from Italy. The Tezza Winery, owned by a family for three generations and run by three cousins, has a short production chain. All steps, from grape - harvest to wine - making and bottling, are done on - site. The family is committed to delivering 'authenticity, transparency and excellence' in their wines. This red blend was once a Ripasso wine, and the grapes are still dried on racks. The juice ages for 24 months in French barriques before bottling. The resulting wine is complex, with notes of tart black cherry and toasted vanilla, followed by a rich taste of cinnamon, more black fruits and dried herbs. It pairs perfectly with grilled meats.
