This 2021 Sauvignon Blanc hails from Languedoc, France. Bernard Magrez, a successful player in the spirits market with port and whiskey, founded Magrez. After his triumph in the port business, he set his sights on the wine industry. Magrez went on to acquire 43 wine estates globally and holds 4 Grand Cru Classes. This white wine comes from his French winery, where Mediterranean breezes blow. The grapes are grown on clay, limestone, and chalk soils, resulting in a crisp and fresh flavor. Composed of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Chardonnay, it has a light to medium body with notes of pear, apple, and citrus. It pairs perfectly with seafood or soft cheeses like brie.
