Castell d'Encus 'Thalarn' - Syrah - Costers del Segre

Thalarn, named after the village where Castell d’Encus is situated, is a remarkable cuvée crafted from Syrah grapes. These grapes are grown at an elevation of 1000 meters on rocky, clay - limestone soil. The wine undergoes fermentation in 12th - century stone lagars (recently restored on the property), stainless - steel tanks, and oak vats. After maceration and fermentation, it is transferred to new French oak barrels for 11 months of aging before bottling. This Syrah offers enticing notes of blackberry, chocolate, meat, violets, and grass. It's a perfumed, delicate, and refreshing red wine that's perfect for wine enthusiasts.
