Chateau Thivin - Gamay - Côte de Brouilly

The Thivin estate, dating back to the 15th century, stands as the oldest on Mont Brouilly. This 2019 Gamay from Côte de Brouilly is lighter compared to most. It offers smooth blueberry and blackberry flavors, a lovely flinty aroma with notes of licorice and violet, and that classic brambly, leafy Brouilly character. With a bit of age, it's a well - developed and excellent wine. It pairs perfectly with Smoked Meatloaf!
