Clos Delice 'Cuvee de la Mairie' - Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux

This 2019 red wine comes from Clos Délice in the Castillon - Côtes de Bordeaux region, right next to the famous St. Emilion Grand Crus on Bordeaux’s right bank. The 'Cuvee de la Mairie', named as it faces the village Town Hall, is crafted from an organically - farmed single vineyard, with 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. In the cellar, they use small amounts of sulfur, indigenous yeasts for fermentation, and gentle extraction to balance the tannins. It's full of blueberry, wild berry jam, and rustic plum flavors, with rich vanilla notes from 18 months in oak. This wine is a perfect match for hard cheeses and grilled mushroom kebabs.

How to use: Simply chill the wine to around 16 - 18°C for the best flavor. Pour it into a wine glass and let it breathe for a few minutes before sipping.
