Evening Land 'Seven Springs' - Chardonnay

This 2022 Chardonnay hails from the Eola - Amity Hills in Oregon. The Seven Springs vineyard, originally founded by the Macdonald family, was bought by Evening Land in 2007. Grown in volcanic soils and influenced by Pacific Ocean winds, the wine offers delightful flavors of baked citrus, chamomile, and golden apple. Aged on the lees in neutral barriques for 6 months and then one month in stainless - steel tanks, it strikes a perfect balance between bright fruitiness and a soft texture. It pairs exquisitely with creamy shrimp pasta or crab cakes.
