Girolamo Russo 'A Rina' - Nerello Mascalese - Etna Rosso

In 2020, Giuseppe continued his father Girolamo Russo's legacy. Girolamo had farmed Etna vineyards for decades before passing away in 2003. A few years later, Giuseppe started bottling wines under their name. Today, he tends 18 hectares of vineyards at 800 meters above sea - level, where the sea influences the climate. The estate uses native grape varieties, ferments with native yeast, and follows organic farming. 'A Rina' is an Etna Rosso mainly made from Nerello Mascalese. It offers earthy notes along with red - fruit flavors like cherries. You can also taste hints of scorched earth and tobacco.

How to use: Open the bottle and let it breathe for about 30 minutes before drinking to enhance the flavor. Pour it into a wine glass and enjoy it slowly. Notice how the aroma and taste develop. Pair it with red meats, like steak or lamb, for a great combination. Attention: Keep the wine away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
