Luigi Baudana Dragon - White Blend

This 2022 White Blend is a special wine. In Langhe, Italy, Vajra, seeing the dragon as a symbol of courage, combined local and international white grape varieties to craft this fragrant and lively white wine. It's an uncommon blend in the Barolo area, featuring Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Nascetta. Each grape is carefully harvested at its prime and gently pressed as whole clusters. Then, it ferments in vertical vats for up to 12 days. Before bottling, it ages in stainless - steel tanks for six months. On the nose, you'll detect dry scents of stones, flowers, and summer grass, and the palate is rounded off with a slightly savory flavor. It pairs perfectly with shrimp scampi on linguini or a selection of hard cheeses.
