This 2019 Montepulciano comes from Marche, Italy, just north of Abruzzo. It's truly impressive! Without any oak - aging, it still shows great concentration, grip, and power, and might even be more like Bordeaux than many Italian wines. On the nose, there are lovely aromas of dark plums, blackberries, and a hint of cigar box. On the palate, enjoy rich dark fruit, spice, forest floor, and tobacco notes. Pair this wine with tagliatelle, beef brisket, or smoky barbecue for a perfect meal.
To enjoy this Malacari 'Rocca' Montepulciano, simply open the bottle and let it breathe for about 30 minutes before serving. Pour it into a wine glass and take in the wonderful aromas.
