Manoir de la Tete 'Bagatelle' - Saumur

In 2020, this Cabernet Franc hails from Saumur in the beautiful Loire Valley, France. Winemaker Guillaume Reynouard started his journey in 1995 by buying a run - down mansion and 4 hectares of Cabernet Franc vines. Since then, he's expanded the vineyard to 18 hectares, got organic certification in 1998 and biodynamic certification in 2010. The 'Bagatelle' wine offers classic Saumur flavors of crisp red raspberries, sweet strawberries, and earthy dried herbs. It pairs perfectly with corn cakes topped with fresh tomatoes and dried sage, or a delicious roast poultry.
