Picollo Ernesto - Gavi

This 2019 wine is 100% Cortese, a DOCG Gavi from Italy. The winery's nine - hectare vineyards are solely planted with Cortese, a robust white grape variety with high acidity, ideal for northern Italy. Cortese loves tough soil, a dry climate, and full sunlight, all of which Rovereto offers. Piccolo's vineyards mostly face south, and the soil has more clay than marl, enabling water conservation throughout the year, even in summer. It pairs perfectly with Stuffed Chicken Breast.
