Realm 'The Bard'

In 2017, we're reminded of the immortal words 'This blessed plot, this earth, this realm...' from William Shakespeare’s King Richard II, which inspired the name of Realm and this remarkable wine. Since 2003, we've crafted this Cabernet Sauvignon - dominated blend as a tribute to the great wines of Bordeaux’s Left Bank. 'The Bard' is Realm's quintessential wine. It's a dense, weighty, and concentrated wine that annually showcases the finest Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Grapes from Beckstoffer To Kalon, Dr. Crane, Blair Vineyard, Weitz Vineyard, Fortuna Vineyard, and Beckstoffer Orchard all contribute to 'The Bard'. While the wine's composition varies each year, Cabernet Sauvignon usually makes up over 70% of the blend, along with smaller amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and/or Petit Verdot.

To enjoy 'The Bard' wine, simply open the bottle and let it breathe for about 30 minutes to an hour. This will enhance its aroma and flavor. Pour it into a large - bowl wine glass to fully savor its bouquet. When it comes to food pairing, it goes great with red meats like steak, lamb, or rich pasta dishes. Store the unopened bottle in a cool, dark place, ideally at a temperature between 55 - 60°F. Once opened, keep the bottle refrigerated and consume within 2 - 3 days to maintain its quality.
