Reverdito - Barolo

This 2016 Barolo from Italy is crafted from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. Planted on pure limestone soils, these 25-year-old Nebbiolo vines yield exceptional grapes. Hand-harvested, the grapes are naturally fermented with only indigenous yeasts. Aged for 24 months in large oak casks, the wine offers a rich palate of dark cherry, plum, spice, leather, and tobacco. It pairs perfectly with beef, lamb, or gamier meats like venison. Heavier pasta dishes are also a great match for this exquisite wine.

To enjoy this Reverdito Barolo, simply open the bottle and let it breathe for about 30 minutes to an hour before pouring. Serve it at a temperature around 60 - 65°F (15 - 18°C) to bring out its full flavor. When pairing, remember that beef, lamb, venison, and heavier pasta dishes go really well with it. Store the unopened bottle in a cool, dark place, and once opened, keep it in the fridge and consume within a few days to maintain its taste.
