Rosa del Golfo - Primitivo

This 2018 wine is made from 100% Primitivo grapes, which are genetically identical to Zinfandel. It's an IGT wine from Salento, Italy. Roso del Golfo, established in 1963 in Salento, initially focused on rosé when it wasn't trendy here. Now, they craft rich and dark red wines like this Primitivo. With a more tannic and bold style, it pairs perfectly with a plate of pasta in red sauce.
