Sydney Back - Pinotage

This 2022 Pinotage hails from Western Cape, South Africa. Pinotage, a grape unique to South Africa, is a blend of Pinot Noir and Cinsault. 30% of this Kosher wine spends 9 months in oak barrels, adding warmth and spiciness to enhance the fruit flavors. The nose features deep red fruits like cherry and currants, combined with vanilla and a hint of toasted nuts. On the palate, blackberry is prominent, followed by notes of gaminess, soft smoke, and vanilla. It pairs perfectly with a hearty roast, beef bourgogne, and creamy potatoes.

To enjoy this wine, just open the bottle and let it breathe for a bit before pouring. You can serve it at a cool room temperature.
