Vigno Dao - Red

This 2017 red wine hails from Dao, Portugal. It's crafted by female winemaker Elisa Freire Lobo, who started her winemaking journey in 1996 when she went back to her roots in Dao. Lobo soon became one of the region's top female winemakers. Her creation, Vigno, is a red blend composed of 40% Touriga Nacional, 30% Alfrocheiro, and 30% Jaen. Vigno offers delicious flavors of red currant, red plum, wild berries, white peppercorns, and warm floral notes, making it an ideal red table wine for daily sipping. It pairs perfectly with Wild Boar Stew.

To enjoy this wine, simply open the bottle and let it breathe for about 15 - 30 minutes. Pour it into a wine glass and savor the aroma and flavors. It's best served at a cool room temperature around 60 - 65°F. Keep the unopened bottle in a cool, dark place. Once opened, finish it within 2 - 3 days and store it in the refrigerator with a cork to preserve the flavor.
