Bodegas Vizcarra - Ribera del Duero

This 2019 wine is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes. The Vizcarra family has been growing grapes in this region for over four generations. In 1991, Juan Carlos Vizcarra started producing estate - bottled wines. Thanks to the high elevation, limestone - clay soils, and the local climate, the grapes enjoy a longer ripening period. This results in wines with intense aromas and more expressive flavors. The wine offers tasting notes of dark berries, violet, and vanilla, ending with a smoky, oaky finish. It pairs perfectly with leg of lamb or braised short ribs.
