Domaine Claude Nouveau 'Le Chainey' - Santenay blanc

This 2017 wine is 100% Chardonnay from Santenay, France. We don't often pick Chardonnay for our wine club, but when we do, it's always amazing. This Santenay won't let you down, with strong scents and tastes of baked apples, citrus, and hazelnuts. Aged in oak barrels for 10 - 12 months, it gets extra flavor and a smooth texture. It pairs perfectly with Sole Meunière.

To enjoy this wine, just open the bottle and let it breathe for a bit before pouring. You can serve it at a cool room temperature. Keep in mind that since it's aged in oak barrels, it has a rich flavor, so don't expect a light - bodied wine. When storing, keep it in a cool, dark place. If you have any leftovers, cork the bottle tightly and put it in the fridge. You can enjoy it within a couple of days. And of course, it tastes best when paired with Sole Meunière as suggested.
