Friedrich Becker Family - Pinot Gris

In 2017, the Becker estate, located in Schweigen, Germany, far south of the Pfalz on the Alsace border, cultivated grapes using biodynamic farming. These grapes were macerated for 12 - 18 hours before being separated from the skins. The resulting wine has a lovely faint blush or pale copper shade, thanks to the pink - hued Pinot Gris grape. It's a visually and palate - pleasing wine, with distinct notes of strawberry, citrus, and lemon peel.

This Pinot Gris is best served chilled. You can enjoy it on its own as an aperitif, or pair it with light meals like salads, seafood, or soft cheeses. When storing, keep it in a cool, dark place. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. Before opening, give it a gentle swirl to release its full aroma. Once opened, try to finish it within a couple of days and store the remaining wine in the fridge with a cork.
