Krasno - Ribolla Gialla - Sparkling

This is an incredibly impressive sparkling white wine! We're always excited to discover unique and utterly refreshing sparkling wines from around the globe. Krasno, located in Goriska Brda, a charming region in Slovenia, crafts this light - bodied sparkler. It bursts with bright citrus, crisp green apple, and juicy stone fruit flavors, along with lovely floral notes and a distinct stony minerality. The wine is crafted from a local grape variety - Ribolla Gialla, known as Rebula in Slovenia. After a secondary fermentation in a stainless - steel tank, it's left on the lees for 3 months. This sparkling wine is the perfect aperitif and pairs beautifully with hors d'oeuvres and light salads.

To enjoy this Krasno sparkling wine, simply chill it in the refrigerator for a few hours until it reaches around 45 - 50°F (7 - 10°C). When you're ready to drink, hold the bottle at a 45 - degree angle and slowly twist the cork to avoid a messy pop. Pour it gently into a flute glass to preserve the bubbles. As an aperitif, sip it slowly before a meal to awaken your taste buds. It also goes great with hors d'oeuvres and light salads. Keep the wine in a cool, dark place when not in use. Once opened, consume it within a day or two and store it in the fridge with a wine stopper to maintain its fizz.
