Philippe Collotte is a very unassuming and diligent individual with some amazing vineyard holdings in the Cote de Nuits. The vines here were planted as early as 1947, though most are around 40 years old. The 2017 vintage is young. While many might suggest aging Burgundy wines, this one is extremely enjoyable right now in its youth.
